LA Galaxy II midfielder Jonathan Pérez was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 8 after tallying a goal and two assists in a 3-0 shutout win over Phoenix Rising FC at Dignity Health Sports Park on May 1.
Making his 2022 USL Championship debut on loan from the LA Galaxy, Pérez tallied his first goal of the season and notched the first multi-goal assist performance in his career in 85 minutes of action in the win over Phoenix. Additionally, Pérez finished the match with a game-high five chances created and seven successful dribbles.
Next up, LA Galaxy II travel to face El Paso Locomotive FC at Southwest University Park on Saturday, May 7. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. PT, the match against El Paso will be streamed live on ESPN+.
