- LA Galaxy Academy product Mauricio Cuevas, 22, makes his fifth start across all competitions for LA during the 2025 campaign in tonight's match against Seattle. Notably, Cuevas recorded two assists in LA’s 4-0 win over Santos Laguna to advance to the Quarterfinal round of Leagues Cup 2025 on Aug. 7. In his last four appearances across all competitions dating back to July 19, Cuevas has recorded four assists. In three seasons with the LA Galaxy (2023-Present), the Los Angeles, Calif., native has logged two goals and six assists in 46 matches played (10 starts) across all competitions.
- Danish defender Zanka, 35, makes his 21st career appearance (18th start) across all competitions for the LA Galaxy in tonight’s match against Seattle. Zanka tallied the game-tying assist in LA's 1-1 draw against the Timbers at Providence Park on March 16. In 37 career appearances (22 starts) for the Denmark Men’s National Team, Zanka recorded two goals.
- Maya Yoshida, who has recorded four goals and three assists in 79 appearances (76 starts) across all competitions in three seasons with the Galaxy (2023-Present), captains LA in tonight’s MLS Regular Season match. Notably, Yoshida played in three FIFA World Cups (2014, 2018, 2022) for the Japanese National Team. Yoshida was the only player on the Galaxy roster to appear in every MLS match (Regular Season & Playoffs) during the 2024 season. - Marco Reus, who recorded a goal against Club Tijuana on July 31, starts in midfield in tonight’s match against Seattle. Reus has registered 19 goal contributions (7 goals, 12 assists) in 33 career matches played (25 starts) across all competitions for LA (2024-Present). Additionally, Reus has recorded 14 goal contributions (6 goals, 8 assists) in his last 17 matches played for the Galaxy dating back to April 27. - Ghanaian international forward Joseph Paintsil, who has recorded 36 goal contributions (23 goals, 13 assists) in 59 career matches played (56 starts) across all competitions for LA, starts on the left wing against Seattle Sounders FC. Paintsil has tallied eight goals and two assists in 22 matches played (20 starts) across all competitions for LA during the 2025 campaign. Notably, Paintsil has recorded seven goals and one assist in his last seven matches played at Dignity Health Sports Park dating back to May 31.
- 2024 MLS Newcomer of the Year Gabriel Pec, 24, who has recorded seven goals and four assists in 28 matches played (28 starts) across all competitions for LA during the 2025 campaign, starts on the right wing against the Sounders. Pec has totaled 50 career goal contributions (28 goals, 22 assists) in 69 appearances (66 starts) across all competitions in two seasons with the LA Galaxy (2024 - Present). In four career matches played across all competitions against Seattle, Pec has recorded two goals. In his last four appearances across all competitions dating back to July 19, Pec has recorded five goal contributions (3 goals, 2 assists).
- Brazilian youth international forward Matheus Nascimento, who tallied two goals in LA’s 4-0 win over Club Santos Laguna on Aug. 7, starts up top in tonight’s match against Seattle Sounders FC. The Niterói, Brazil native has notched six goals and four assists in 21 appearances (11 starts) for the Galaxy during the 2025 MLS Regular Season. Nascimento joined LA as a U22 Initiative Player on loan from Brazilian Série A side Botafogo on Feb. 19, 2025. Notably, Nascimento is the youngest player (16 years old) in club history to make their debut for Botafogo. Nascimento notched 12 goals and 7 assists in 98 appearances (55 starts) across all competitions in six seasons played with Botafogo (2020-25). At the international level, Nascimento has made multiple appearances for Brazil at the U-16, U-17, U-18, U-20 and U-23 age groups. The forward was part of the Brazilian National Team side that won the 2023 Pan American Games gold medal after defeating Chile in penalties on Nov. 4, 2023.
