- LA Galaxy Academy product Mauricio Cuevas, 22, makes his first start for LA during the 2025 MLS Regular Season in tonight's match against the Philadelphia Union. Cuevas has made four consecutive appearances as a second-half substitute for LA dating back to April 19 since returning from a hamstring injury sustained in preseason. In three seasons with the LA Galaxy (2023-Present), the Los Angeles, Calif., native has logged one goal and two assists in 34 matches played (7 starts) across all competitions.
- Japanese International defender Miki Yamane, who has tallied two assists in nine appearances (8 starts) during the 2025 MLS Regular Season, starts at right back in tonight's match against Philadelphia. Yamane has​ registered 10 assists in 52 appearances (50 starts) across all competitions in two seasons played with the Galaxy (2024-Present).
- Colombian defender Emiro Garcés, 23, who has tallied two goals and one assist in 15 appearances (12 starts) across all competitions for the Galaxy during the 2025 campaign, starts in defense in tonight's match against the Union. Garcés has recorded two goals and three assists in 30 career appearances (22 starts) across all competitions for the LA Galaxy (2024-Present).
- Maya Yoshida, who has recorded three goals and three assists in 65 appearances (64 starts) across all competitions in three seasons with the Galaxy (2023-Present), captains LA in tonight's game. Notably, Yoshida played in three FIFA World Cups (2014, 2018, 2022) for the Japanese National Team. Yoshida was the only player on the Galaxy roster to appear in every MLS match (Regular Season & Playoffs) during the 2024 season.
- John Nelson, who has made 12 appearances (11 starts) across all competitions this season for LA, starts in defense in tonight's match. The Medina, Ohio, native has logged one goal and four assists in 43 matches played (31 starts) across all competitions in two seasons with the LA Galaxy.
- Midfielder Isaiah Parente, 25, who tallied two assists in LA's 4-1 win over C.S. Herediano on March 12, starts against Philadelphia in tonight's match. The Medina, Ohio, native has tallied two assists in 13 matches played (8 starts) across all competitions during the 2025 campaign. Parente, a Columbus Crew Academy product, tallied three goals and one assist in 21 appearances (21 starts) with Ventura County FC during the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Regular Season.
- Midfielder Elijah Wynder, 22, makes his third career start (9th appearance) across all competitions this season for the Galaxy in tonight's match against Philadelphia. Wynder notched his first career MLS assist against Vancouver on March 2. During the 2024 USL Championship Regular Season, Wynder recorded six goals and two assists in 33 matches played (32 starts), en route to being named the 2024 USL Championship Young Player of the Year, earning USL Championship All-League Second Team honors and helping Louisville City capture the club’s first-ever USL Championship Players’ Shield.
- Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Sanabria, 21, makes his first start for LA since starting and playing 45 minutes against Houston Dynamo FC on April 12 in his return from a broken collarbone. Sanabria has made six appearances (3 starts) across all competitions for LA during the 2025 campaign. Sanabria recorded five goals and four assists in 46 matches played (41 starts) across all competitions (Campeonato Uruguayo Clausura & Apertura, Copa AUF Uruguay, Copa Libertadores, Torneo Intermedio) for Club Nacional de Football (2024). At the international level, Sanabria was called up to the Uruguayan National Team for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying for matches against Peru on Oct. 11 and Ecuador on Oct. 15, 2024.
- Diego Fagundez, who became the youngest player in MLS history to make 400 career MLS regular season appearances against Houston on April 12, makes his 300th career MLS regular season start for the Galaxy in tonight's match against Philadelphia. Fagundez has tallied 74 goals and 76 assists in 404 career MLS regular-season games played (299 starts). With his next goal scored, Fagundez would become the eighth player in MLS history to record at least 75 career goals and 75 assists in regular season play. Fagundez has tallied four goals and five assists in 20 career league matches played against Philadelphia.
- Marco Reus, who makes his third consecutive start for LA dating back to May 4, starts up top in tonight's match against the Union. Reus has registered seven goal contributions (2 goals, 5 assists) in 19 career matches played (12 starts) across all competitions for LA (2024-Present). Reus totaled 301 goal contributions in 429 career appearances across all competitions in 12 seasons played (2012-24) for Borussia Dortmund.
