Who is your favorite Galaxy player of all time?
My favorite LA Galaxy player is Jelle Van Damme – But any player that plays with their heart for the crest is a favorite of mine.
What is your favorite LA Galaxy moment?
It’s hard to pick just one favorite LA Galaxy moment. I have three though that stand out the most. Our first season as STM’s and the 2014 MLS Cup win. It was one of the most thrilling moments celebrating with my daughter and our new Galaxy friends. Then in 2018, we had an unforgettable experience at the NYCFC away game. We got to meet the entire team, and my daughter even got a birthday hug from Sebastian Lletget just before they boarded the bus to the stadium. All the fans rode the subway together, chanting and celebrating—it was so much fun. And of course, the 2024 MLS Cup playoffs and final. I promised my daughter when she went out of state for college that when we make the final again, I would bring her home for it. That whole weekend between the game and the rally the next day was one of the best experiences ever.
What do the LA Galaxy mean to you?
The Galaxy mean everything to us. What started as a team outing with our AYSO team when my daughter was 10, has turned into a way of life. Our daily plans, vacations, her time home from college, and even our matching tattoos all revolve around the Galaxy. Our mutual love for the Galaxy is a huge part of the great bond we have. We've also met the best fans along the way who have become true friends and ultimately, family.
What is your favorite thing about being a STM?
The launch kit party and Oktoberfest in the past was always a favorite of ours. Nowadays, even the little things like the 15-minute early entry and the discount on food/drinks. Away games are the best though. The pre-parties, marching into the stadium together chanting and being there to support our team with other Galaxy fans is an experience everyone should have. I also appreciate the personal touch from our Service Reps. I’ve been fortunate to have the best of the best over the years and it’s a big part of why we renew every season. They have helped make a great experience even better.
Do you have a special game day routine?
We like to come early and tailgate either right next to our car or in the ACB tailgate area with friends. It’s a great way to soak in that pre-game energy. When the stadium gates open, we head inside to pick up our beverages, watch the bands and walk through soccer fest before heading to our seats to watch that games DJ.
