CARSON, Calif. -- Robbie Keane has been named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week after tallying two goals in the Galaxy's 2-1 victory over FC Dallas last Saturday.
In his 100th regular season apperance, Keane stated his intent to repeat as MLS MVP with two goals to lead LA back from an early deficit at Toyota Stadium.Keane has scored 11 of his 13 goals this season in the Galaxy's last eight matches.
His success even drew him praise from U.S. national team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann who hailed him as a "great role model."
Joining Keane on the squad were midfielder Sebastian Lletget and defender Robbie Rogers who each made the Team of the Week bench.
