LA Galaxy II will travel to Texas for a match this Saturday, Aug. 15 at House Park against Austin Aztex at 5:30 p.m. PT. The game will be streamed live on www.lagalaxy.com.
The Galaxy will look to bounce back from a three-game losing streak Saturday when they face Austin. Los Dos have dropped matches against Colorado Springs Switchbacks SC, OKC Energy FC and Arizona United SC. The match will mark the second time the clubs have faced off this season, with Galaxy II earning a 2-1 win early on the year behind goals from Ariel Lassiter and Raul Mendiola.
Los Dos are now two points out of first place in the Western Conference standings with a 11-8-3 record. The club continues to be led in goals by Ariel Lassiter with nine on the season in addition to eight assists from Raul Mendiola. On Monday, Galaxy II announced the signing of Bryan Olivera on loan from Brazil’s Fluminense on Monday.
